DJ Controllah is a Jamaican DJ, born in the UK. Controllah discovered Soca in 2019 and played his first mas that same year. In 2020 he purchased his own controller and started mixing soca music. 

 

Since then Controllah has dj’d for various radio stations, in Nottinghill carnival in 2022/23, and has played internationally for Soca Mazza 2023 and Dase 2023.  In 2023, Controllah decided to expand his library and started playing afrobeats, dancehall, hip hop, r&b etc. 

 

This has lead him to DJ at Simmons bar, Rowans tenpin bowl and, various other bars in London. Controllah enjoys most genres of music however, his favourite will always be soca. Controllah wishes to spread the joys of soca to the world and beyond.
